About: Ivoire de Balmain was a short-lived, luxury ready-to-wear range produced by Balmain between 1987 and the early 1990s, created specifically for the American market. There is little documentation about Ivoire de Balmain as a fashion line and it was discontinued around the time Oscar de la Renta took over as creative director in 1993. Finding items from this range and period is rare!
